Project 325 – Won’t You Join Us?
When we change our words, we change our worlds. Everyday we use words that in someway, somehow contribute to the lives we live. They support our beliefs, they encourage our actions and they fuel our emotions. But when we use them to dream out loud, something powerful happens. Our dreams become ideas, our ideas become plans, our plans become dates and before you know it, those dates are now a reality.

30 Days Of Affirmation. A Pushy Dreamer Challenge
Lets get this New Year off right! Affirmations are statements that define your present moment and have the power to shape your present reality. Words are powerful and to see just how powerful they are, for the next 30 days I want to help empower your choice by challenging you to pick an affirmation that best describes and helps encourage your move toward achieving your New Year Resolution. For example, if your goal is to eat healthy or perhaps save money, using a short and direct affirmation like “I make smart choices” will help empower your choice in the moment. The challenge is not in creating the affirmation, but in using it when you feel most vulnerable in making a choice against your dreams. Below are a list of affirmations and a 30DayChallenge sheet to help get you started in pushing forward on your journey!
Are you feeding your dreams or feeding your doubts? #CoachNotes
Each day we are presented with opportunities to live out our dreams. And by dreams, I mean enjoying what is rightfully ours, our happiness. But if we don’t feed our dreams, we miss out on living a life we can be truly happy about.
10 ways to feed your dreams and not your doubts.
Conquering Our StrengthTakes Practice #CoachNotes
Normally when we think of practice, we immediately think of mastering a skill in some form of art or athletic ability. Rarely do we make it a goal to master our inner strength the way we would to set a goal to lose weight or save money. With all great things, 1st comes practice. Not saying it will be easy, but with all things, practice does have the ability to make it better.
“You are what you practice most.” - Richard Carlson
Inspiration is everywhere #Believe
Everyday millions of people sit by and watch their dreams pass by as they wait for the perfect moment. But I’ve come to realized that all the magic and perfectness you need exist right within you. We can wait to be inspired or we can be inspired. The choice is always ours. I believe the more we move in the direction of the uninspired, the harder it becomes to be inspired.
Jiro Dreams Of Sushi #Believe
If you are looking for motivation or inspiration, Jiro Dreams Of Sushi will not disappoint you! This documentary does a wonderful job of capturing Jiro’s dream, hard work and passion as a sushi chef, owner and creator. At the age of 85 years, he still continues to push forward to improve his skill, simply because he is in love with what he creates.
Which road will you travel? #Believe
Inspiration is everywhere, but it’s also a funny thing, because you never know exactly where, what or how it will show up in your life.
Today’s inspiration came from words I shared with someone on FaceBook, ”Take the road less traveled” I said, words I remembered from a poem by Robert Frost “The Road Not Taken” As my morning continued, that funny thing about inspiration showed up and looked me right in the face. Those same words shared, popped right back up and inspired my choices that I would make today.
Girl Talk! New Pushy Dreamers Workshop For Young Adults
There is nothing better than to have an idea and then make it happen! I do my best to surround myself with all things that inspire me and allow me to live out my dreams. Getting paid is not so much of a goal than to live life doing what I love most. And what I’m learning I love most as I push forward is working with teens, young women and really people of all ages.
This last year I have been spending most of my time working on my Life Coach certification and volunteering at the Covenant House, facilitating a career exploration panel for young adults. Each week a group of volunteers would come in to speak about who they are, what they do and the choices they took to get them there. One of the most challenging things for me to over come each week was not being able address the same group of young adults. Each week came with new faces, new dreams but the same outcome. After the hour was up, we all felt jipped in not being able to spend more time with each other or helping out further with the direction they were headed (Covenant and New York Care rules). So each week I left wishing I could do more.
It dawned on me one day after sitting with a young lady who mentioned to me “this is all great but I have personal issues I need help with” at the moment a light immediately turn on and an opportunity created its way for me to do more. I pitched the idea to the people at The Covenant House and they loved the idea.
