Project 325 – Won’t You Join Us?
When we change our words, we change our worlds. Everyday we use words that in someway, somehow contribute to the lives we live. They support our beliefs, they encourage our actions and they fuel our emotions. But when we use them to dream out loud, something powerful happens. Our dreams become ideas, our ideas become plans, our plans become dates and before you know it, those dates are now a reality.

Conquering Our StrengthTakes Practice #CoachNotes
Normally when we think of practice, we immediately think of mastering a skill in some form of art or athletic ability. Rarely do we make it a goal to master our inner strength the way we would to set a goal to lose weight or save money. With all great things, 1st comes practice. Not saying it will be easy, but with all things, practice does have the ability to make it better.
“You are what you practice most.” - Richard Carlson
You Get What You Give #Believe
Just a little food for thought and a healthy reminder for us all. I’m a true believer that you get what you give and energy is everything! It is the universal law of energy
It’s not what you give but how also how much you give that matters. And if it matters to you, keep reading.
Choices and Dreams #Plan
We all have them and we all make them, many times we over look them. But how often do we think about our daily choices as being important, of value or even as a reflection of who we are?
Everyday we have the opportunity to make choices. From the moment we wake to the moment we lay ourselves down to sleep, we spend our entire day in charge of making choices. Some as easy or difficult as what to wear, what to eat, where to sit, who to talk to or even flash a flirty smile to. Who your friends are, who you date and even where you work. Whether it’s a choice you like or not, truth is, it is still a choice.
Girl Talk! New Pushy Dreamers Workshop For Young Adults
There is nothing better than to have an idea and then make it happen! I do my best to surround myself with all things that inspire me and allow me to live out my dreams. Getting paid is not so much of a goal than to live life doing what I love most. And what I’m learning I love most as I push forward is working with teens, young women and really people of all ages.
This last year I have been spending most of my time working on my Life Coach certification and volunteering at the Covenant House, facilitating a career exploration panel for young adults. Each week a group of volunteers would come in to speak about who they are, what they do and the choices they took to get them there. One of the most challenging things for me to over come each week was not being able address the same group of young adults. Each week came with new faces, new dreams but the same outcome. After the hour was up, we all felt jipped in not being able to spend more time with each other or helping out further with the direction they were headed (Covenant and New York Care rules). So each week I left wishing I could do more.
It dawned on me one day after sitting with a young lady who mentioned to me “this is all great but I have personal issues I need help with” at the moment a light immediately turn on and an opportunity created its way for me to do more. I pitched the idea to the people at The Covenant House and they loved the idea.
Ten Things About Tamala Baldwin #Singer #Actress #Dreamer #Create
1. Name and where are you from? Tamala Baldwin I was born in Brooklyn and lived there until I was 13. In 8th grade my family moved to Long Island, NY.
2. Occupation(s) I AM a singer, actress, writer, producer and a dreamer!
3. Advice for handling obstacles. Have you ever stumped your toe? I’m sure you have and what usually happens is that your eyes swell up with tears, you may scream under your breath or swear, jump up and down, or rub it until it goes away. Obstacles are like that stumped toe. It hurts and it’s a huge nuisance but eventually it subsides and everything eventually goes back to its natural state. So do what you must? Shed that tear, seek comfort through whatever you’re going through, but rest easy knowing eventually this too shall pass – just like the stumped toe.
Doing Something Different #BadHabits #Plan
As I think about dreams and what’s possible and believe me, that list is endless, I immediately think about my list of to do’s and what I believe would be best for me in moving me further on this journey. Sharing and exchanging these thoughts with my beloved, it dawn on me…
“It’s not what we have to start doing that matters as much as what we have to stop doing.”
As I began to become aware of my habits and my daily activity, it became visible of the stand still moments I could and would want to embrace differently. So how do you go about doing something different? Here is what I came up with.
